Providing equipments for primary circuit: Circuit breaker , resistor, capacitor, TU, TI, disconnector switch, surge arrester of famous brands ABB, GE, SIEMENS for high voltage and medium voltage.
- Circuit breaker
A circuit breaker is defined as a switching device that can be operated manually or automatically for controlling and protecting an electrical power system. Circuit breakers are vital devices for the protection and control of electrical power systems. They can interrupt high fault currents and restore the normal operation of the circuit.
- Shunt reactor
To have the effect of eliminating and adjusting the amount of excess reactive power generated by the power grid, reducing and keeping stable voltage of system.
- Shunt capacitor
Capacitors always emit reactive power Q, supplying it to the load, reducing the amount of reactive power transmitted from the grid, thereby increasing the voltage at the end of the line.
- Series capacitor
To have the effect of reducing voltage drop on the line (reducing voltage and power loss on the line), spreading the voltage on the line equal to the allowable voltage and increasing the transmission capacity of the line. Capacitors are connected in series on the transmission line making the total line impedance smaller.
- TU (Voltage Transformer)
Used in power systems to reduce voltage of system (voltage of primary) to a safe voltage to energize low power meters and relays. The system voltage is applied to the primary coils head of the TU and according to the principle of electromagnetic induction, voltage appears on the secondary coils. An perfect TU, when connecting rated (parallel) loads to the secondary side, the voltage ratio of the primary and secondary sides is proportional to the turns ratio.
- TI (Current Transformer)
Electrical equipment used to convert large currents and high voltages to standard currents of 5A or 1A, safe voltage to supply measurement, control and protection circuits.
- Disconnector Switch
Used to switch on and off high-voltage circuits. The transmission parts of the Disconnecting Switch are usually operated manually or by electromechanics (electric motors).
- Surge arrester
Has the effect of preventing lightning strikes to electrical elements that need to be protected such as distribution stations, transformer stations, transmission cables and other electrical machines. This device is installed in parallel with the devices that need protection. When there is an overvoltage phenomenon due to lightning, the current will be redirected to the lightning arrester and transmitted to ground, ensuring system safety.
